The driving vision for Kerkyra Blue Hotel is the concept of the ‘Amalgam’—the intentional blending of diverse architectural components and conditions, retaining only their finest qualities to create a compact, coherent spatial narrative. Developed for Louis Hotels, the design establishes a sequence of moments that reflect the rich history, culture, and atmosphere of Corfu.

The design approach pairs the building’s existing interior structure with a contemporary interpretation of classic Mediterranean style. The primary focus is elevating the mid-century neoclassical elements of the space through upgraded materiality, refined textures, and custom furnishings.

Harmonizing directly with the restaurant’s design language, the main bar offers an ambient, sophisticated setting where guests can relax in a luxurious Mediterranean atmosphere.

Maintaining aesthetic continuity with the main dining and bar areas, the thematic Greek restaurant presents a

modern, elevated reinterpretation of the traditional Greek tavern.

Positioned at the core of the master plan, the Ionian Pool connects the resort's primary public facilities. The surrounding deck features a curated range of seating systems in neutral tones that blend seamlessly into the surrounding architecture and landscape.

Comprising amenities such as the outdoor bar and snackeria, the Pavilion Project delivers a complete pool-day experience. With a lighter, beach-bar-inspired aesthetic, these pavilion spaces introduce a more playful character while maintaining overall architectural coherence.

Thoughtfully placed seating arrangements allow guests to experience the natural beauty of the coastline, offering diverse spatial qualities under the gentle shade of the native trees.
